Hadith 11746
١١٧٤٦ - حدثنا عبد الأعلى وغندر عن (عوف) (١) عن أبي المنهال قال: سألت أبا العالية عن القراءة في الصلاة على الجنازة بفاتحة الكتاب فقال: ما كنت أحسب أن فاتحة الكتاب (تقرأ) (٢) إلا في صلاة فيها ركوع (أو) (٣) سجود.
Hazrat Abu Al-Minhāl narrates that I asked Hazrat Abu Al-‘Āliyah about reciting Surah Al-Fātiḥah in the funeral prayer. He replied: In my opinion, Surah Al-Fātiḥah is recited in that prayer in which there is bowing and prostration.
