Hadith 11704
١١٧٠٤ - حدثنا (١) أبو أسامة عن (عبيد اللَّه) (٢) عن نافع عن ابن عمر أنه كان يقول في الجنازة إذا صلى (عليها) (٣): اللهم بارك (فيه) (٤) (وصل) (٥) عليه واغفر له وأورده حوض رسولك ﷺ (٦)، قال في قيام كثير (وكلام كثير) (٧) لم أفهم منه غير هذا (٨).
Hazrat Nafi’ reports that Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) when performing the funeral prayer, used to recite this supplication: “O Allah, bless him, send Your mercy upon him, forgive him, and admit him to the reservoir of Your Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him).” The narrator says that he (Ibn Umar) stood for a long time and recited many supplications, but I could not understand anything except this.
