Hadith 11701
١١٧٠١ - حدثنا عبدة بن سليمان عن محمد بن عمرو عن أبي سلمة قال: قال (عبد اللَّه) (١) بن سلام: الصلاة على الجنازة أن يقول: اللهم اغفر لحينا وميتنا وصغيرنا وكبيرنا وذكرنا وأنثانا وشاهدنا وغائبنا، اللهم من توفيته منهم فتوفه على الإيمان ومن (أبقيته) (٢) منهم فأبقه على الإسلام (٣).
Hazrat Abu Salamah narrates that when Hazrat Abdullah bin Salam performed the funeral prayer, he would recite this supplication: O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, our young and our old, our males and our females, those present among us and those absent. O Allah, whomever You cause to die from among us, cause him to die upon faith, and whomever You keep alive from among us, keep him alive upon Islam.
