Hadith 11699
١١٦٩٩ - حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن منصور عن عبد اللَّه بن عبد الرحمن بن أبزى قال: كان عليّ يقول في الصلاة على الميت: اللهم اغفر لأحيائنا (وأمواتنا) (١)، وألف بين قلوبنا، وأصلح ذات بيننا، واجعل قلوبنا على قلوب خيارنا، اللهم اغفر له، اللهم وارحمه، اللهم أرجعه إلى خير مما كان فيه، اللهم عفوك (٢).
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abdur Rahman Abzi narrates that Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) used to recite this supplication in the funeral prayer: "O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, unite our hearts, reconcile our mutual affairs, and make our hearts like the hearts of our best ones. O Allah, forgive him. O Allah, have mercy on him. O Allah, return him to a state better than that in which he was. O Allah, Your pardon."
