Hadith 11640
١١٦٤٠ - حدثنا سهل بن يوسف عن ابن عون عن محمد قال: (ما) (١) علمت أن أحدًا أحق بالصلاة على أحد إلا أن (يوصي) (٢) (الميت) (٣) (فإن) (٤) لم (يوص) (٥) الميت صلى عليه أفضل أهل بيته.
Muhammad says: I do not know if anyone has more right to lead the funeral prayer for someone, except for the person whom the deceased has appointed (as more deserving). And if the deceased has not appointed anyone, then the most virtuous among the family members should lead the funeral prayer.
