Is Ghusl Given to One Who Is Stoned to Death?
Hadith 11335
١١٣٣٥ - حدثنا وكيع بن الجراح عن سفيان عن علقمة بن مرثد عن الشعبي قال: لما رجم علي (شراحة) (١) جاءت همدان إلى عليّ فقالوا: كيف يصنع بها؟ فقال: "اصنعوا بها كما (تصنعون) (٢) بنسائكم إذا متن في (بيوتهن) (٣) " (٤).
Hazrat Sha'bi narrates that when Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) carried out the stoning (rajm) of Shurahah, the people of Hamdan came to Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and asked: How should she be buried? (What should be done with her?) He replied: Treat her in the same manner as a woman who dies at home is treated.
