Hadith 11315
١١٣١٥ - حدثنا أبو أسامة عن هشام عن ابن سيرين قال: كان إذا سئل عن غسل الشهيد حدث بحديث حجر بن عدي قال: قال حجر بن عدي لمن (حضره) (١) من أهل بيته: لا تغسلوا عني دمًا ولا تطلقوا عني (حديدًا) (٢) وادفنوني في ثيابي فإني ألتقي أنا ومعاوية على الجادة غدًا (٣).
When Ibn Sirin was asked about giving ghusl (ritual washing) to a martyr, he narrated the hadith of Hajar bin Adi: Hajar bin Adi, before his martyrdom, said to a member of his household: He said, "Do not wash my blood, and do not separate my weapons from me, and bury me in these very clothes of mine. Surely, I and Muawiyah will meet tomorrow at the same dining spread."
