Hadith 1117
١١١٧ - حدثنا عبدة بن سليمان عن عبد الملك (عن) (١) عطاء في الرجل يهريق الماء (و) (٢) يقرأ القرآن؟ قال: يكون على طهر أحب إليَّ إلا أن يكون يقرأ طرف الآية أو الشيء.
Hazrat Ata was asked whether a person can recite the Qur'an after relieving himself. He replied that it is better to do so in a state of purity; however, if a person recites a verse or some part, there is no harm.
