Hadith 11019
١١٠١٩ - حدثنا الحسن بن موسى عن زهير عن عبد اللَّه بن عيسى عن أبيه عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي ليلى عن أبيه، قال: كنت مع النبي ﷺ في بيت الصدقة قال: فجاء (الحسن) (١) بن علي فأخذ تمرة، فأخذها منه، فاستخرجها وقال: "إنا لا تحل لنا الصدقة" (٢).
Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Abi Laila narrates from his father that I was with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in the house of charity (where charity goods were kept), when Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) came and picked up a date. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took it back from him and said: Charity is not permissible for us.
