Hadith 11011
١١٠١١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن شعبة عن محمد بن زياد عن أبي هريرة (عن) (١) النبي ﷺ أنه أتي بتمر من تمر الصدقة، فتناول الحسن بن علي تمرة فلاكها في فيه فقال له رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "كخ كخ أنا لا تحل لنا الصدقة" (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira that dates from charity (zakat) were brought to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and Hazrat Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) ate one of those dates. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gently scolded him and said, "Charity is not lawful for us."
