Hadith 10988
١٠٩٨٨ - حدثنا ابن (عيينة) (١) عن (زيد) (٢) بن (أسلم) (٣) عن عطاء بن يسار ⦗٣٨١⦘ (يبلغ) (٤) به النبي ﷺ: "من سأل وله أوقية أو عدلها فهو يسأل الناس إلحافًا" (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Zakat is not lawful for any wealthy person except in three cases: either he is (fighting) in the way of Allah, or he is a traveler, or Zakat is given to his neighbor and he gives it to him as a gift.
