Hadith 10984
١٠٩٨٤ - حدثنا ابن نمير عن الأعمش عن أبي صالح عن أبي هريرة قال: قال ⦗٣٨٠⦘ رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "لئن يأخذ أحدكم (حبلًا) (١) فيأتي الجبل (فيحتطب) (٢) منه فيبيعه ويأكل ويتصدق خير من أن يسأل الناس" (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Zubair that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If any one of you takes a rope, goes out, gathers a bundle of wood on his back, and sells it, then through this Allah Almighty will protect his face, it is better for him than asking people for something, whether they give it to him or not.
