Hadith 10983
١٠٩٨٣ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن داود عن الشعبي قال: قال عمر: من سأل الناس (ليثري به) (١) ماله، فإنما هو رضف من جهنم، فمن شاء فليقل ومن شاء فليكثر (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira that the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: If any one of you takes a rope, goes to the mountain, gathers firewood, sells it, eats from it, and also gives charity from it, this is better for him than asking (begging) from others.
