Hadith 10981
١٠٩٨١ - حدثنا ابن فضيل عن عمارة بن القعقاع عن أبي زرعة عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "من سأل الناس أموالهم (تكثرًا) (١) فإنما (يسأل) (٢) ⦗٣٧٩⦘ جمرة (فليستقل) (٣) منه أو (ليستكثر) (٤) " (٥).
Hazrat Hubshi al-Saluli narrates that I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever asks people (for charity) to increase his wealth, then this asking is a scratch on his face and a hot stone from Hell, which he will eat on the Day of Resurrection.
