Hadith 10628
١٠٦٢٨ - حدثنا (١) هشيم عن سفيان بن حسين عن الزهري عن سعيد بن المسيب يرفعه (أنه) (٢) سئل عن صدقة الفطر فقال: عن الصغير والكبير والحر والمملوك نصف صاع (من) (٣) (بر أو) (٤) (صاع) (٥) من تمر أو شعير (٦).
It is narrated from Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib in a marfu’ form that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about Sadaqat al-Fitr. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: For the young and the old, the free and the slave, it is half a sa’ of wheat or one sa’ of dates or barley.
