Hadith 10617
١٠٦١٧ - حدثنا غسان بن مضر عن سعيد بن يزيد قال: كان (أبو نضرة) (١) يقعد (٢) (يوم الفطر) (٣) في مسجد الحي، فيؤتى (بزكاتهم) (٤) (ويرسل) (٥) ⦗٢٨٣⦘ (إلى) (٦) من بقي، فيؤتى بزكاته، فيقسمها في فقراء الحي (ثم يخرج) (٧).
It is narrated from Hazrat Saeed bin Yazid that Hazrat Abu Nazrah would sit in the mosque of the locality on the day of Eid al-Fitr. When zakat (and other charity) was brought to him, and if any remained, he would send a messenger to those people, and their zakat would also arrive. He would distribute it among the poor of the locality, and then he would leave the mosque.
