Hadith 10605
١٠٦٠٥ - حدثنا عبد الرحيم عن يحيى بن سعيد عن محمد بن يحيى بن حبان أن شيخين من أشجع أخبراه أن محمد بن مسلمة الأنصاري من أصحاب بدر كان (يقدم) (١) عليهم، فيصدق ماشيتهم في زمن عمر بن الخطاب، فكان يجلس فمن أتاه بشاة فيها وفاء من حقه قبلها منه (٢).
Hazrat Muhammad bin Maslamah Ansari, who was among the companions of Badr. In the time of Hazrat Umar, he used to go to the people of the tribe of Ashja‘ to collect the zakat of animals. He would sit at one place, and whoever brought a goat to him to fulfill his obligation of zakat, he would collect it from him.
