ما قالوا في الرجل يخرج زكاة أرضه وقد أنفق في (البذور) والبقرIf someone spends on seeds and plowing animals, does he pay zakah on the produce?
Hadith 10376
١٠٣٧٦ - حدثنا وكيع عن أبي عوانة عن أبي بشر عن عمرو بن هرم عن جابر ابن زيد عن ابن عمر وابن عباس (في الرجل) (١) ينفق على ثمرته فقال أحدهما: يزكيها وقال الآخر: يرفع النفقة ويزكي ما بقي (٢).
Hazrat Jabir bin Yazid narrates that Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) and Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) were asked: Is there zakat on a person who spends on his fruits? One of them replied that there is zakat. The other replied that whatever has been spent will be separated, and zakat will be on the remainder.
