Hadith 10351
١٠٣٥١ - حدثنا جعفر بن عون عن أسامة قال: سألت القاسم عن اللؤلؤ (١) هل فيه زكاة (أم لا) (٢)؟ فقال: ما كان منه يلبس (كالحلي) (٣) ليس لتجارة، فلا زكاة فيه، وما كان (من) (٤) ذلك للتجارة ففيه الزكاة.
Hazrat Usama narrates that I asked Hazrat Qasim about the zakat on diamonds. He replied that those which are worn, such as jewelry, and are not for trade, there is no zakat on them. And those which are for trade, zakat is obligatory on them.
