Hadith 10059
١٠٠٥٩ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن عاصم عن حفصة بنت سيرين عن (الرباب) (١) وهي أم الرائح بنت صليع عن سلمان بن عامر قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "إذا أفطر أحدكم فليفطر على تمر فإن لم يجد فليفطر على ماء فإنه طهور" (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Salman bin Amir that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When any of you breaks his fast, he should break it with dates; if he does not find dates, then he should break it with water, for water is purifying.
