Hadith 1000
١٠٠٠ - حدثنا حميد بن عبد الرحمن عن أَبيه عن أبي إسحاق عن الحارث عن علي قال: (إذا رأت المرأة بعد ما تطهر من الحيض مثل غسالة اللحم أو قطرة الرعاف أو فوق ذلك أو دون ذلك؛ فلتنضح بالماء، ثم لتتوضأ ولتصل، ولا تغتسل إلا أن ترى دمًا (عبيطًا) (١)، فإنما هي ركضة من الشيطان في الرحم (٢).
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) says that if a woman, after becoming pure from menstruation, sees drops of blood or nosebleed, whether less or more than that, she should clean it with water, perform ablution, and offer prayer. She should not perform ghusl (ritual bath); however, if she sees thick blood, then she should perform ghusl as well. This is a kind of disruption in the womb from Satan.
