Hadith 2106
Sayyiduna Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that a man was reciting Surah Al-Kahf and nearby, a horse was tied with two long ropes. Then a cloud came over him, which began to circle and draw near, and seeing this, his horse started to shy away. When morning came, the man went to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and mentioned what had happened during the night. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “That was tranquility (sakinah) which descended due to the blessing of the Qur’an.”

Hadith 2107
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Usaid bin Hudair (may Allah be pleased with him) was reciting the Qur'an one night in the place where he dried his dates, when his horse began to jump, and as he recited, the horse would jump. Then he started reciting again, and the horse jumped again. He said, "I feared that (my son) Yahya might be trampled, so I went and stood by him. And what did I see but a canopy above my head, in which there were lights like lamps, and it ascended upwards until it disappeared from sight. Then I did not see it again. In the morning, I went to the service of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and submitted, 'O Messenger of Allah! Last night I was reciting the Qur'an in my enclosure when suddenly my horse began to jump.' The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, 'Recite, O son of Hudair!' He said, 'I continued reciting, and the horse jumped again.' Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, 'Recite, O son of Hudair!' He said, 'I continued reciting, and the horse kept jumping as before.' Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, 'Recite, O son of Hudair!' He said, 'When I finished and Yahya was near the horse, I feared that Yahya might be trampled, so I saw a canopy in which there were lights like lamps, and it ascended upwards until it was out of sight.' Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, 'Those were angels who were listening to your recitation, and if you had continued reciting, the morning would have come and people would have seen them (the angels), and they would not have remained hidden from their sight.'"
