Hadith 2103
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came out while we were in the Suffah. He (peace be upon him) said: "Which one of you would like to go out every morning to Bathan or Aqeeq (these were two markets of Madinah) and bring back two large-humped she-camels from there, without committing any sin and without severing the ties of kinship?" We said, "O Messenger of Allah! We would all like that." He (peace be upon him) said: "Then why does not one of you go to the mosque and learn or recite two verses from the Book of Allah? That is better for him than two she-camels, and three verses are better than three she-camels, and four are better than four she-camels, and so on, according to the number of verses, each is better than that many she-camels."
