Hadith 2099
Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "Is any one of you incapable of reciting one third of the Qur'an every night?" The companions asked, "How can anyone recite one third of the Qur'an?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Surah Al-Ikhlas (Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad) is equal to one third of the Qur'an."

Hadith 2100
Narrated from Ummul Momineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent a man as the commander of a troop, and he used to recite the Qur'an in the prayer of his troop and would always end his recitation with (Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad). When the troop returned, the people mentioned this to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), so he said, "Ask him why he does so." The companions asked him, and he replied, "This is an attribute of the Most Merciful, and I love to recite it." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Tell him that Allah loves him."
