´Sayyiduna Abu Umamah Bahili رضي الله عنه says that` I heard the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم say, "Recite the Qur'an, for it will come as an intercessor for its reciters on the Day of Resurrection. And recite the two shining Surahs, which are Surah Al-Baqarah and Surah Aal-e-Imran, for they will come on the Day of Resurrection as if they are two clouds, or two canopies, or two flocks of birds in ranks, pleading for those who recite them. And taking recourse to Surah Al-Baqarah is a blessing, and leaving it is a cause of regret, and the magicians cannot confront it." Muawiyah said that the word "batala" in the hadith means magician.
