Mukhtasar Muslim

Sayyiduna Suhaib (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The affair of the believer is amazing; there is good for him in every matter, and this is for no one except the believer. If something pleasing happens to him and he is grateful, there is reward in it for him; and if harm befalls him and he is patient, there is reward in that for him as well.
