Hadith 2070
Sayyidah ‘Urwah narrates from Umm al-Mu’minin ‘A’ishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she used to say: "By Allah, O my nephew! We would see one crescent, then another, then a third, thus in two months we would see three crescents, and no fire would be lit in the houses of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) during that time." I said, "O aunt! Then what was your sustenance?" She said, "Dates and water. However, some neighbors of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) from among the Ansar had milch animals, and they would send milk to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he would give us that milk to drink."

I used to eat from it. Many days passed like this. (Then) I measured it, and it finished. (It became clear that there is more blessing in an unknown and unspecified thing.)
