Mukhtasar Muslim

Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You will certainly follow the ways of the previous nations, span by span and cubit by cubit, to the extent that if they entered the hole of a lizard, you would also enter it." We said, "O Messenger of Allah! Do you mean the Jews and the Christians?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "(If not them) then who else?"
