Hadith 1971
Narrated from Sayyiduna Harithah bin Wahb (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Shall I not tell you about the people of Paradise?" The people said, "Please do." He (peace be upon him) said, "Every weak person, considered lowly among people, if he swears by Allah relying on Him, Allah will fulfill it for him." Then he said, "Shall I not tell you about the people of Hell?" The people said, "Why not! Please do." He (peace be upon him) said, "Every quarrelsome person, big-bellied, and arrogant, or every wealth-accumulating arrogant person."

Hadith 1972
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: There are many people who are dusty and disheveled, driven away from doors, (but) if they swear by Allah relying on Him, Allah fulfills their oath (that is, they are accepted by Allah even though they are insignificant in the eyes of the worldly people).

Hadith 1973
Narrated from Sayyiduna Iyad bin Himar Mujashi’i (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said one day in a sermon: Be aware that my Lord has commanded me to teach you those things which you do not know. Allah Almighty has informed me: Whatever wealth I give to My servant is lawful for him (i.e., whatever is not forbidden by Shariah is lawful, even if people have declared it unlawful, such as horse, zebra, monitor lizard, shark, etc.). And I have created all My servants as Muslims (or free from sins, or steadfast, or with the ability for guidance, and some have said it means the covenant taken before coming into the world). Then the devils came to them and turned them away from their religion (or prevented them from their religion), and made unlawful for them what I had made lawful, and commanded them to associate partners with Me, for which I had sent down no authority.

And indeed, Allah Almighty looked at the people of the earth, and found them all, Arabs and non-Arabs, to be evil except for a few people from the People of the Book who remained (on the true religion). (That is, the majority of Arabs and non-Arabs, except for a few among the followers of ‘Isa (peace be upon him) who were monotheists, the rest were associating partners with Allah, so He considered them evil.) And Allah Almighty said: I have sent you so that I may test you (with patience, steadfastness, and the harm of the disbelievers) and test those to whom you are sent (to see who among them accepts faith, who remains a disbeliever, and who is a hypocrite). And I have sent down to you a Book which water does not wash away (because the Book is not only written on paper but engraved in hearts), so you recite it while awake and asleep. And Allah has commanded me to warn the people of Quraysh (i.e., to convey the truth to them with intensity). I said: O Lord! They will break my head as bread is broken, they will tear me into pieces. Allah Almighty said: Expel them as they expelled you, and fight against them, We will help you. Spend, We will soon spend upon you (i.e., spend in the way of Allah, Allah will provide for you). And send armies, We will send five armies (of angels) like that. And those who obey you, take them and fight against those who do not obey you.

He said: The people of Paradise are three: First, the one who has authority, judges justly, is truthful, and is granted success in good deeds. Second, the one who is kind and soft-hearted towards every relative and Muslim. Third, the one who is chaste, does not ask (from others), and has children.

And the people of Hell are five: First, the weak one who has no sense (to avoid evil), who are among you as followers, neither seeking family nor wealth (i.e., merely careless, not concerned with lawful or unlawful; today even so-called rich and rulers are included). Second, the thief who, if anything comes before him, even if insignificant, he steals it. Third, the person who deceives you morning and evening regarding your family and your wealth. And the Prophet (peace be upon him) mentioned the miser or the liar (that they are also among the people of Hell), and the foul-mouthed, i.e., the one who abuses and speaks obscenely (he is also among the people of Hell).
