Mukhtasar Muslim

Sayyiduna Salamah bin Akwa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) says: We visited a man with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) who was suffering from fever. I placed my hand on him and said, “By Allah! I have never seen anyone as hot as this person today.” (Due to the severity of the fever, his body was extremely hot.) The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Shall I not tell you about a person who will be even hotter than this on the Day of Resurrection? They are these two riders who are turning their backs and going away.” (This was about two men who were among the companions at that time. He said this because they were hypocrites, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was aware of their hypocrisy.)
