Mukhtasar Muslim

Narrated from Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: Prisoners were brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and among them was a woman searching for her (child). When she found her child, she picked him up, held him to her chest, and began to nurse him. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to us: Do you think this woman would throw her child into the fire? We said: By Allah, she would never be able to do that. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Indeed, Allah is more merciful to His servants than this woman is to her child.
