Hadith 1888
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever relieves a believer of a hardship from the hardships of this world, Allah will relieve him of a hardship from the hardships of the Hereafter. And whoever gives respite to a poor person (i.e., does not demand his debt or is not harsh with him), Allah will make things easy for him in this world and the Hereafter. And whoever conceals the fault of a Muslim in this world, Allah will conceal his fault in this world and the Hereafter. And Allah continues to help His servant as long as the servant is helping his brother. And whoever sets out on a path seeking knowledge (i.e., religious knowledge purely for Allah), Allah will make the path to Paradise easy for him. And whenever people gather in one of the houses of Allah to recite and teach the Book of Allah, tranquility descends upon them, mercy covers them, the angels surround them, and Allah mentions them to those who are with Him (i.e., the angels). And whoever's good deeds are slow (i.e., he is lacking in good deeds), his lineage (ancestry) will not advance him (will be of no benefit).
