Hadith 1882
Safwan (and he was Ibn Abdullah bin Safwan, and Umm al-Darda was in his marriage) said: I came to (the land of) Sham and went to the house of Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him). But I did not find him, and I met Lady Umm al-Darda (may Allah be pleased with her). She said to me: Are you intending to perform Hajj this year? I said: Yes. Umm al-Darda said: Then pray for me, because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say that a Muslim's supplication for his brother in his absence is accepted. There is an appointed angel at his head; when he prays for his brother's good, the angel says: Ameen, and the same be for you. Then I went out to the market and met Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him), and he also narrated the same from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
