Hadith 1878
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: None of you should say, "O Allah! If You will, forgive me. O Allah! If You will, have mercy on me." Rather, he should be firm in supplication, for Allah does whatever He wills; there is none to compel Him.
