Hadith 1840
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than a weak believer, and there is good in each of them. Be eager for those things that benefit you (i.e., that will benefit you in the Hereafter), seek help from Allah, and do not lose heart. And if any calamity befalls you, do not say: If I had done such and such, then such and such would have happened; but rather say: This is what Allah had decreed, and He did what He willed. For saying "if" and "but" opens the way for Satan.
