Mukhtasar Muslim

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when people stopped with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) at Hijr (that is, the land of Thamud), they took water from its wells to drink and kneaded dough with that water. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered them to throw away that water and to feed the dough to the camels, and said that drinking water should be taken from the well upon which the she-camel of Salih (peace be upon him) used to come.
