Hadith 1825
Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says: Two persons came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and I do not know what they talked about with him, but he became angry and cursed them and spoke ill of them. When they went out, I said, “O Messenger of Allah! They will not benefit from anything.” The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Why?” I said, “Because you cursed them and spoke ill of them.” The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Do you not know what I have stipulated with my Lord? I have said: O my Lord! I am a human being, so for any Muslim whom I curse or speak ill of, make it a purification and a reward for him.”

Hadith 1826
´Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that` there was an orphan girl with Sayyidah Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her), who was called Umm Anas. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw this girl and said: "This girl has grown up; may Allah not prolong your life." Upon hearing this, the girl went to Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) crying. Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) asked, "Daughter, what happened to you?" She replied, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has supplicated against me that my life may not be prolonged. Now I will never grow up," or she said, "that your companion may not grow up." Hearing this, Sayyidah Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) quickly put on her shawl and went out to meet the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "What is it, Umm Sulaym?" She said, "O Noble Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Did you supplicate against my orphan girl?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "What supplication?" She said, "She says that you said her or her companion's life may not be prolonged." Upon hearing this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) smiled and said, "O Umm Sulaym! Do you not know that I have made a condition with my Lord? My condition is that I said: O Lord! I am a human being; I become pleased as a human becomes pleased and I become angry as a human becomes angry. So, for anyone from my Ummah upon whom I supplicate (against) undeservedly, then make it a means of purification, cleanliness, and nearness to You for him on the Day of Resurrection." And Abu Ma'n has narrated in this hadith in all three places "yateemah" as "yutayyimah" with the diminutive form.

Hadith 1827
`Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says:` I was playing with children when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came. And I hid behind a door. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) patted me (affectionately) with his blessed hand and said, "Go and call Muawiyah." I went and then returned and said, "He is eating." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) again said, "Go and call Muawiyah." I went again and returned and said, "He is eating." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "May Allah not fill his stomach." Ibn Musanna said: I asked Umayyah, "What does 'Hatta' mean?" He replied that it means the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) struck Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) on the nape. (This hadith is also in the same meaning as mentioned in previous ahadith, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) made a condition with Allah that if he ever said something contrary to reality for someone, it would become a mercy for him. Therefore, this hadith is among the virtues of Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him).)
