Mukhtasar Muslim

`Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that` the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Adhere to truthfulness, for truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. A man continues to speak the truth until he is recorded with Allah as a truthful person. And beware of lying, for lying leads to wickedness, and wickedness leads to the Fire. A man continues to lie until he is recorded with Allah as a liar.
