Mukhtasar Muslim

Aswad says that some young men of the Quraysh went to Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) while she was in Mina, and they were laughing. Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) asked, "Why are you laughing?" They said that such-and-such a person fell on the tent rope and his neck or eye was barely saved. Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "Do not laugh, because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said that if a Muslim is pricked by a thorn or suffers anything more than that, then for him a rank is raised and a sin of his is erased."
