Hadith 1786
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri and Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with them) say that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Honor is Allah Almighty's lower garment and greatness is His cloak (meaning these are His attributes). Then Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, says that whoever tries to take these away from Me, I will punish him."
Hadith 1787
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Allah Almighty will neither speak to three persons on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them, nor will He look at them (with mercy), and for them is a painful punishment. The first is an old adulterer, the second is a lying king, and the third is an arrogant poor man.
