Mukhtasar Muslim

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! When will the Hour (Day of Judgment) come?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "What have you prepared for the Hour?" He replied, "The love of Allah and His Messenger." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "You will be with those whom you love." Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "After embracing Islam, we were never as happy about anything as we were upon hearing this hadith." Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I love Allah, His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), Sayyiduna Abu Bakr, and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with them), and I hope that I will be with them on the Day of Judgment, even though I have not done deeds like theirs."
