Hadith 1751
´Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that` we were sitting with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when Surah Al-Jumu’ah was revealed. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: “Glory be to Allah Who sent a Messenger among the unlettered (Arabs) and among others who have not yet joined them” (Al-Jumu’ah: 3), a man asked, “O Messenger of Allah! Who are these people other than the Arabs?” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not answer him until he asked once, twice, or three times. At that time, Sayyiduna Salman Al-Farsi (may Allah be pleased with him) was also sitting among us. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) placed his blessed hand on him and said, “If faith were at Thurayya (the Pleiades, a star), even then some men from his people would attain it.”
