Hadith 1710
Narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) held a sword on the day of Uhud and said, "Who will take this from me?" People stretched out their hands and each one was saying, "I will take it, I will take it." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Who will fulfill its right?" Upon hearing this, people withdrew (because on the day of Uhud the disbelievers had the upper hand). Sayyiduna Simak bin Kharsha Abu Dujana (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I will fulfill its right." Then he took it and split the heads of the polytheists with that sword.
