Hadith 1708
´Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that` I used to invite my mother to Islam and she was a polytheist. One day I asked her to accept Islam, but she said something about the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that I disliked. I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) weeping and said, "I used to invite my mother to Islam but she would not accept. Today she said something about you that I disliked, so please supplicate to Allah that He may guide the mother of Abu Hurairah." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "O Allah! Guide the mother of Abu Hurairah." I left, happy with the supplication of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). When I reached home and arrived at the door, it was closed. My mother heard the sound of my footsteps and said, "Wait a moment." I heard the sound of water falling; in short, my mother performed ghusl, put on her shirt, quickly covered herself, then opened the door and said, "O Abu Hurairah! I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is the servant and Messenger of Allah." Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) weeping with joy and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Rejoice, Allah has accepted your supplication and guided the mother of Abu Hurairah." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) praised Allah, mentioned His attributes, and spoke good words. I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Pray to Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, that He may place love for me and my mother in the hearts of the Muslims, and their love in our hearts." Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "O Allah! Place the love of Your servants, that is, Abu Hurairah and his mother, in the hearts of the believing servants, and place the love of the believers in their hearts." After that, no believer was born who heard me or saw me except that he loved me.

Hadith 1709
‘Urwah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) said: “Are you not amazed at Abu Hurairah? He came and sat in one corner of my room and began narrating hadith from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). I was listening, but I was performing voluntary prayers, and he left before I finished. If I had found him, I would have refuted him, because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not speak in such haste as you do.”

Ibn Shihab said to Ibn al-Musayyib: “Indeed, Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: ‘People say that Abu Hurairah narrates many hadith, and Allah is the examiner, and they also say: Why do the Muhajirun and Ansar not narrate hadith as Abu Hurairah does? Soon I will explain the reason to you. My Ansari brothers were busy working in their fields, and the Muhajirun were occupied with business in the markets, but I would stay with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to fill my stomach. Thus, I would be present while they were absent, and I would remember while they would forget. One day, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Who among you will spread out his garment and listen to my hadith, then gather it to his chest, so that he will not forget anything he hears?” I spread out my cloak until he finished speaking, then I gathered it to my chest. From that day, I have not forgotten anything that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said. And if it were not for these two verses that were revealed in the Noble Qur’an, I would not narrate any hadith to anyone: ‘Indeed, those who conceal what We have sent down of clear proofs and guidance…’ to the end.” __QUR_N__ __XREF_N__ __REF_N__
