`Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that` the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, while the funeral of Sayyiduna Sa’d bin Mu’adh (may Allah be pleased with him) was placed before them, that the Throne of the Lord shook for him.

Sayyiduna Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that a silk garment was presented as a gift to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). His companions began to touch it and were amazed at its softness. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Are you amazed at its softness? Indeed, the handkerchiefs of Sa’d bin Mu’adh (may Allah be pleased with him) in Paradise are better and softer than this.”
