Mukhtasar Muslim

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, while he was on the pulpit: "If you find fault with his leadership (by this he meant Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid, may Allah be pleased with him), then indeed you had also found fault with his father's (Zaid's) leadership before this. By Allah! His father was worthy of leadership and was the dearest of all people to me. And by Allah! He (i.e., Usama) is also worthy of leadership, and by Allah! After him, Usama is the dearest of all people to me. Therefore, I advise you to treat Usama well, for he is one of the blessed among you."
