Hadith 1670
‘Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ja’far says that I heard Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) in Kufa, he was saying that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Among all the women in the heavens and the earth, Maryam bint ‘Imran is the most virtuous, and among all the women in the heavens and the earth, Khadijah bint Khuwaylid (may Allah be pleased with her) is the most virtuous. Abu Kurayb said that Waki’ pointed towards the heavens and the earth.

Hadith 1671
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Jibreel (peace be upon him) came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! This is Khadijah coming to you with a vessel in which there is curry, or food, or drink. When she comes to you, convey to her greetings of peace from her Lord and from me, and give her the glad tidings of a house in Paradise made of hollow pearls, in which there will be neither noise nor any hardship.

Hadith 1672
‘Umm al-Mu’minin A’ishah Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I did not feel jealous of any of the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) except Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her), although I did not see her. Whenever the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) slaughtered a goat, he would say: “Send its meat to Khadijah’s friends.” One day I made you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) angry and said: “Khadijah?” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Her love has been placed in my heart.”

Hadith 1674
Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says: Khadijah's (may Allah be pleased with her) sister, Halah bint Khuwaylid, sought permission to enter upon the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he remembered the way Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) used to seek permission. He became happy and said, "O Allah! Halah bint Khuwaylid." I felt jealous, so I said, "Do you remember one of the old women of Quraysh, one with red gums (i.e., extremely old, with no teeth left, only redness), who died long ago, while Allah has given you someone better than her (a young virgin like me)?"
