Hadith 1658
Narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I saw you in a dream for three nights, when an angel brought you to me in a piece of white silk and said to me, "This is your wife." I uncovered your face and it was you. I said, "If this dream is from Allah, then it will happen as such (i.e., this woman will be given to me if there is no other interpretation of this dream)."

Hadith 1659
Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me, “I know when you are pleased with me and when you are displeased with me.” I asked, “How do you know that?” He (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “When you are pleased, you say, ‘No, by the Lord of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him),’ and when you are angry, you say, ‘No, by the Lord of Ibrahim (peace be upon him).’” I said, “By Allah, O Messenger of Allah! I only leave your name (when I am angry with you).” (The anger of Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) was only due to the jealousy that is excused for women, and it was only outward; in her heart, she was never displeased with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).)

Hadith 1660
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) that she used to play with dolls in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). She said that her friends would come and, upon seeing the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), would hide (out of shyness and fear), so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would send them to her.

Hadith 1661
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) that people used to wait for my turn, and on the day of my turn, they would send gifts so that the Prophet (peace be upon him) would be pleased.

Hadith 1662
‘Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the pure wives of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent his daughter, Sayyida Fatimah al-Zahra (may Allah be pleased with her), to him. She asked for permission, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was lying with me under my sheet. When he granted permission, she said, “O Messenger of Allah! Your wives have sent me to you; they wish that you be just with the daughter of Abu Quhafah (meaning, that you love them as much as you love her. And this matter was not optional, and in all other matters you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) were just).” And I remained silent. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “O daughter! Do you not want what I want?” She replied, “O Messenger of Allah! I only want what you want.” The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Then love Aisha.” Upon hearing this, Fatimah got up and went to the wives of the Prophet and conveyed to them what she had said and what the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had said. They said, “We think you will not be of any help to us, so go again to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and say that his wives seek justice regarding the daughter of Abu Quhafah (Abu Quhafah was the father of our master Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), so he was Aisha’s grandfather, and it is permissible to attribute to the grandfather).” Sayyida Fatimah al-Zahra (may Allah be pleased with her) said, “By Allah! I will never speak to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) again regarding Aisha’s matter.” Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) said that finally, the wives of the Prophet sent Umm al-Mu’minin Zaynab bint Jahsh (may Allah be pleased with her) to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and in rank she was equal to me before him. I have not seen any woman more religious, more God-fearing, more truthful in speech, more upholding of kinship, and more charitable than her, nor any woman who strove harder in Allah’s cause and in charity than her, except that she had a quick temper (i.e., she would get angry), but she would quickly calm down, reconcile, and feel remorse. She sought permission from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he granted it while he was still in my sheet, just as he was when Sayyida Fatimah al-Zahra (may Allah be pleased with her) had come. She said, “O Messenger of Allah! Your wives seek justice regarding the daughter of Abu Quhafah.” Then she turned to me and spoke harshly, and I was watching the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to see if he would permit me to respond or not, until I realized that he would not mind if I replied. Then I responded to her and soon overcame her or rendered her speechless. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) smiled and said, “She is the daughter of Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) (not just any woman who would be subdued by you).”

Hadith 1663
Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to ask during his illness, "Where will I be today? Where will I be tomorrow?" thinking that his turn (to stay with her) was still delayed. Then, on my day, Allah the Exalted called him (to Himself) while his blessed head was resting on my chest and throat.

Hadith 1664
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) that she heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying before his death, while he was leaning on her chest. She listened closely and he (peace and blessings be upon him) was saying: "O Allah! Forgive me, have mercy on me, and join me with the highest companions."

Hadith 1665
Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say in his state of health that no prophet passes away until he has seen his place in Paradise and has been given the choice to depart from this world. Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) said that when the time of the Messenger of Allah’s (peace and blessings be upon him) death came, his head was on my thigh. He (peace and blessings be upon him) remained unconscious for a while, then regained consciousness and fixed his gaze towards the ceiling and said, “O Allah! With the highest companions (meaning with the prophets who reside in the highest ‘Illiyyin).” Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) said that at that moment I realized that now he (peace and blessings be upon him) would not choose us, and I remembered the hadith which he (peace and blessings be upon him) had said in his state of health, that no prophet passes away until he has seen his place in Paradise and has been given the choice (between remaining in this world and the Hereafter). Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) said that this was the last statement the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) made: “O Allah! With the highest companions.”

Hadith 1666
‘Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to travel, he would draw lots among his wives. Once, the lot fell upon me and Umm al-Mu’minin Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her), and both of us set out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). When he traveled at night, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would walk alongside Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her), conversing with her as they went. Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her) said to Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), “Tonight, you ride my camel and I will ride yours; you will see what you have not seen, and I will see what I have not seen.” Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) agreed. So, she rode Hafsa’s camel and Hafsa rode hers. At night, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to the camel of Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), on which Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her) was riding. He greeted her and walked alongside her until they halted at the destination. Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) did not find the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) with her that night, so she became jealous. When she dismounted, she put her feet in the idhkhir grass and said, “O Allah! Set a scorpion or a snake upon me that it may bite me. He is Your Messenger; I cannot say anything to him.”

Hadith 1667
Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Many men have attained perfection, but among women none attained perfection except Maryam bint ‘Imran and Asiyah (may Allah be pleased with her), the wife of Pharaoh. And the superiority of ‘A’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) over other women is like the superiority of tharid over other foods.

Hadith 1668
Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Aisha! This is Jibreel (peace be upon him); he is conveying greetings of peace to you." I replied, "(And peace and the mercy of Allah be upon him)." Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to see things which I did not see.
