Hadith 1590
Narrated from Sayyiduna Jubair bin Mut’im (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I have several names; I am Muhammad, Ahmad, and Al-Mahi, meaning that through me Allah will erase disbelief. And I am Al-Hashir, people will be gathered to me on the Day of Resurrection for intercession. And I am Al-‘Aqib, meaning there will be no prophet after me. And Allah Almighty has named you (peace and blessings be upon him) Ra’uf and Rahim (very gentle and very merciful) (peace and blessings be upon him).

Hadith 1591
Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to mention several names of himself to us, and he (peace be upon him) said: I am Muhammad (peace be upon him), and Ahmad, and Muqaffi (that is, Aqib), and Hashir, and the Prophet of Repentance, and the Prophet of Mercy (because repentance and mercy have been brought by him, peace be upon him).
