Hadith 1581
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was the most beautiful of all people, the most generous of all, and the bravest of all. One night, the people of Madinah were frightened (by the fear of an enemy's arrival), so they headed towards the direction from where the sound was coming. On the way, they found the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) returning (he had gone ahead of everyone alone to investigate), and he was the first to go towards the sound. He was riding bareback on the horse of Sayyiduna Abu Talhah, and there was a sword hanging around his neck. He was saying, "Do not fear, do not fear. This horse is like a river (swift)," and previously that horse was slow (this too was a miracle of the Prophet, that it became swift).
